Can you see a pending deposit with Chase? ›

If you review your account during the day, you will see that we show some transactions as “pending.” For details, refer to the section “Pending” transactions in the Deposit Account Agreement.

Simply log onto your bank account profile and look at your checking account or savings account history. Depending on when payment was sent, your money could come up as pending direct deposit in either one of these accounts. Go into your bank account history to check the status of your money.

You can see the checks and deposit slips that have posted to an account. 1 2 From your accounts page, choose the account tile you'd like to review. We'll show your recent account activity. Choose the image next to the check or deposit slip you'd like to see.

Navigate to Zelle within Online Banking or the Mobile Banking App. Click the activity tab to view pending or past transactions.

Chase posts your transactions to your account at the end of each day beginning with deposits and ends with withdrawals. This avoids overdraft fees as long as at the end of the day you've deposited enough to cover your withdrawals before the end of the day, in this case 11:00 PM ET. Chase Between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m.

If you've sent money to yourself or someone else, the transfer can show as pending while we run checks to help make sure your account is safe. This means it might take a little longer for the money to reach its destination, sometimes up to two hours.

Usually, you'll have access to your direct deposit at the opening of business on your payday — by 9 a.m. In many cases, direct deposits hit accounts even earlier, often between midnight and 6 a.m. on payday morning. But there are factors that can affect how long it takes your direct deposit to become available.

You may see pending transactions at the top of your statement. This is where the money hasn't been taken from your account, but has been put aside for the merchant to take. The merchant may take the money after a couple of days, but it can sometimes take longer.

Clicking or tapping 'View all transactions' allows you to see Completed Transactions as well as Active Transactions that are still pending.

For Chase Secure Checking^SM only: Early direct deposit is a service that comes with your Chase Secure Checking account in which we credit your eligible direct deposit transaction up to two business days early. You must set up direct deposit to your account.

If a check has been cleared, it will be reflected in your bank account statement. Keep an eye on your account to make sure that the check has not already been cashed or deposited by the other party. You can also call or visit your bank and ask a representative to let you know the status of the check.

Select Transfer & pay, then Send & request money with Zelle®. Choose Activity. You'll see PENDING PAYMENTS, SENT PAYMENTS and RECEIVED PAYMENTS.

If your transaction goes into "review" status, this usually happens when there are discrepancies or inconsistencies with your account information or if you're sending an unusual amount of money. In such cases, Chase could take up to 3 business days to review and approve the transactions.

Sending limits usually range from $500 to $5,000 per day and $10,000 to $20,000 per month, though some banks may allow you to increase your limits. If your bank wasn't on our list, you can typically confirm your Zelle transaction limits through your online banking account or by calling your bank.

Early direct deposit is a service that comes with your Chase Secure Banking account in which we credit your eligible direct deposit transaction up to two business days early. If you are already signed up for direct deposit, then you will be automatically enrolled.

Your current balance reflects the amount of money in your bank account at any given moment. Your available balance is the amount of money you have to spend, including any pending payments and deposits. The key difference is that your pending purchases do not appear in the current balance.
