You do not need to be present in the store to apply for a job or take the assessment. We want you to do your best, so we recommend you take the assessment where you are free of distractions and can focus on the questions to answer them to the best of your ability.
Additional Assessment Details:
- There are 53 questions on the assessment.
- The assessment must be completed within 96 hours after starting it. You may stop and restart the assessment as many times as you like within the 96-hour time frame.
- You will be asked to indicate your level of agreement with various statements.
- Assessment questions focus on:
- Professional Experience: Your work or school experience.
- Customer Focus: How you would interact with customers and others in a retail environment
- Note: Responses to these questions allow you to be considered for multiple In-Store and Distribution Center hourly roles, including Store and MET, without needing to retake the assessment for each job application.
- Responsibility: The extent to which you are dependable and complete job tasks reliably and in a timely manner.
- Learning Potential: Your willingness and ability to learn new things in our ever-changing environment.
Screenshots of sample questions are shown below:
Please note that for questions stated as ‘When we ask your most recent manager…’ you may instead think of how a similar person who assigns you work, such as a project lead or teacher/instructor, might respond to the question.
- The assessment is entirely text-based and does not require sound or video players to complete the questions.
- The assessment platform is mobile-enabled and compatible with a variety of assistive software technologies.
- The screen reader software we most regularly test with are JAWS and NVDA, but we expect that most screen readers will work on the tests.
- The platform also has multiple contrast options that you can choose from which may help with visual processing.
